【フェヴレ】
ニュイ・サン・ジョルジュに本拠を置く名門、フェヴレ。1825年の創立から７代にわたって続くグラン・メゾンである。4代目のジョルジュ・フェヴレは、かの有名なコンフレリー・デ・シュヴァリエ・デュ・タストヴァン（利き酒騎士団）の創設者のひとりとして知られている。フェヴレが数ある他のネゴシアンと一線を画するのは、その広大な自社畑から造られるドメーヌ・ワインが、全生産量の８割を占めるという事実だろう。
 
コート・ド・ニュイ、コート・ド・ボーヌ、そしてコート・シャロネーズまで、合わせて120haもの自社畑を所有し、シャンベルタン・クロ・ド・ベーズやエシェゾーなどグラン・クリュを10ha、ニュイ・サン・ジョルジュのレ・サン・ジョルジュやジュヴレ・シャンベルタンのクロ・デ・ジサール（モノポール）などプルミエ・クリュを25ha。ひとつのクリマの面積は平均して１haと決して大きくはないが、それだからこそクリマごとに手の込んだオーダーメイドの様なワイン造りを行っている。
 
今日、メゾンを率いるのは、2005年に25歳の若さで事業を引き継いだエルワン・フェヴレ。奇しくも彼の父、フランソワ・フェヴレがメゾンを継承したのも25歳の時であったという。エルワンは当主の座に就くや否や、改革を断行し、若いうちはなかなか飲みづらく、長年寝かせて初めて花開く堅牢な長期熟成型のワインを、比較的早いうちから楽しめ、かつ長期の熟成も可能なワインへとスタイルを変えた。フレッシュな果実味と力強さ併せ持つ深遠なワイン産んでいる。
 
【コルトン・クロ・デ・コルトン・フェヴレ・グラン・クリュ】
コルトン・クロ・デ・コルトン・フェヴレはシャンベルタン・クロ・ド・ベーズに次ぐドメーヌの誇りともいえるモノポールのグラン・クリュ。コルトン・ロニェの上部に石垣で囲まれた3haの区画。最も古い樹は戦前の1932年に植樹されたもの。その後1956年、1965年、1971年、1976年、1977年、1981年、1987年、2002年、2019年に植樹されている。バリックで発酵、新樽率50％で18カ月熟成。
深みのあるルビーからガーネット。集中度があり、ラズベリーやカシスなど豊かな果実のアロマ。ミネラルとタンニンがストラクチャーを与え、リッチでエレガントの一献。メオ・カミュゼのクロ・ロニェと双璧をなすコルトンの銘酒。赤／特級畑／モノポール

The 2016 Corton Grand Cru Clos des Cortons Faiveley is another cuvée that is showing superbly from bottle, revealing an attractive bouquet of ripe red berry fruit, orange rind, wood smoke, espresso roast and dark chocolate that's framed by a deft touch of classy new oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, satiny and lavish, with a deep and layered core, excellent concentration, vibrant acids and a long, beautifully defined finish. This is one of the finest rendition of the Clos des Cortons Faiveley produced under the new regime.（Wine Advocate Published: Feb 01, 2019）

The serious depth is held in reserve for now, offering black cherry, black currant, incense, earth and mineral flavors. This supple red is balanced by fleshy fruit up front, with the buried structure emerging on the finish. Reveals a terrific aftertaste of graphite, licorice and mineral. The 2016 Corton Clos des Corton-Faiveley Grand Cru offers smudged red cherry and wild strawberry fruit on the nose, hints of vanilla pod and chalk emerging with time, attractive even if it requires more delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and fine acidity, although it feels just a little over-extracted compared to Taupenot-Merme's Corton-Regnier, especially on the finish. Not bad overall, but it might have been better. Tasted blind at the 2016 Burgfest tasting.（By Neal Martin on November 2018）
